Average Medical Expenses per year:
This drop down box gives you a choice of three assumptions. You may select:

1. The National Average for yearly medical expenses
2. The cost that results from the addition of prescriptions and doctors visits (#6 & 7); or
3. A more accurate number, you may open the drop box that allows you to enter an amount you believe you/your family will spend in any given year. Although everyone has higher and lower than normal costs in any given year, please use an average cost per year. The amount of medical expenses that you choose will be used to calculate your total medical expenses over the entire period of time you are covered by health insurance until your retirement
